COVID-19 Policy for Deep Learning in Business Forum
on Thursday, October 6 at MIT

By attending this event, you voluntarily assume any and all risks associated with potential exposure to COVID-19 and you hereby release, waive, and hold the event hosts harmless from any illness, injury, or damages incurred by you in connection with your attendance at the Deep Learning in Business Forum. 

As your hosts, we recommend you follow CDC and Massachusetts state guidelines. Residents and visitors to Boston are no longer required by the City of Boston to wear a face covering in indoor public spaces, such as gyms, bars and restaurants, museums, and entertainment venues, however masks in the venue on October 6 are optional and will be available at check-in.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, remain vigilant, and strictly adhere to all recommended cautionary measures, protocols, and guidelines from various health organizations and local authorities, in an effort to ensure our guests remain in a safe and healthy environment. We will make operational changes and consider additional precautionary measures as necessary.

Please contact us before traveling to the event if any of the following applies:

• You have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 5 days
• Are waiting for COVID-19 test results
• Have any COVID-19 symptoms
• If you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.

We strongly encourage you to submit to a self antigen test the morning of the event and refrain from attending if you receive a positive result or feel ill (even with a negative test). We also encourage you to enable MassNotify on your phone before arriving at the venue: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/enable-massnotify-on-your-smartphone, so that you may be notified if you have come in contact with COVID-19.
